Above all, Karma strives to be charming, no matter if he is a man or a woman. He's polite and continues to act as the royalty he was raised as. He also rather dislikes when men do not show any chivalry, and believes attacking a woman is almost always wrong.
He likes to tease, especially Waltz. Mischievous by nature, he can be quite the Cheshire cat, dangling information about himself just out of reach of others. He is hesitant to share his curse with others, and will dance around the information if able. Karma can appreciate being teased back, even if it isn't always convenient for him.
He is not without sympathy nor sensitivity. If his motives are misunderstood, he becomes saddened and tries to repair the situation.
However, Karma can become cold, distant, and harsh when he is uncomfortable, especially when it's in regards to his curse. From curt sentences to outright lashing out, Karma has varying degrees of temper. He tries to resist falling in love and may put up some form of a wall between him and the object of his affections (albeit poorly; he tends to have a soft spot for when he loves someone, even if he didn't want to initially). As he falls more in love, the tattoo on his chest becomes covered in thorns and thus more painful to him, being part of his anger. He knows his father raised him better, and thinking he disappointed him helps him feel remorse for his actions.
However, if someone is willing to scold Karma when he is in the wrong, he does understand and is willing to stand down and even admit when he's wrong, and even correct his behaviour. Though this doesn't necessarily mean an apology for someone he doesn't get along with, he will at least treat them less harshly.
Karma has no problems shipping people - if he sees love between two people that has not yet been confessed, he will nudge them closer together, and is even happy to set up opportunities for one of them to confess to the other. He does tease those that are more dense and don't realise the other person cares for them as well. But he does sympathise with and understand the difficulty in confessions, as well.
Sometimes Karma's language and nuances can be difficult to follow in their emphasised eloquence. Karma says this is because it's because he weaves love and dedication into every one of his words and that there is beauty in deciphering them.
Karma says he doesn't lie, not even for a pretty lady.
Karma doesn't mind dressing as a woman, saying he even admires the apparel that women often get to wear and loves the beauty in everything.
Karma considers himself selfish, saying he only does things for himself, especially when it comes to him wanting to love Lucette. If nothing else, he is certainly cocky.
Karma admits his nervousness in sitting down to supper with Lucette's father. When she tells him that he's too flamboyant to be nervous, he corrects her and says that he's confident and that there is a difference.
In love established, Karma loves to flood his lover with very thoughtful presents, extravagant as they might be.
